About Hubbard Haven

Our Story

We are a family-owned and operated breeder that has been in the business for over 5 years. Our passion for Golden Retriever started when we got our first Golden, Lucy from Lamonds Goldens and fell in love with their loyal and friendly nature. Since then, we have been dedicated to breeding healthy and happy Goldens for families to enjoy.

Our Breeding Process

We take great pride in our breeding process, which starts with carefully selecting our breeding pairs. We only breed Goldens that meet our high standards for health, temperament, and conformation. Our Goldens are raised in a loving and nurturing environment and receive regular veterinary care and socialization.

Raising our puppies

All of our dogs including our puppies are raised in house! We do not believe in kenneling our dogs therefore our puppies receive the same treatment! Our Puppies are born in a kiddie pool in the middle of my living room. From birth to roughly 4 weeks old the puppies stay in the pool where their momma has full access to get out when she needs/wants. From 4-8 Weeks our puppies get to explore and have the full run of our kitchen and dining room! our dogs and puppies get full access to our beds and couches. In the summer we do set up a 15x15 covered play pen for the puppies to stretch their legs and to safely play outside!

Our Breeding Program

Our breeding program is designed to produce Golden Retrievers that are healthy, happy, and well-adjusted. We carefully select our breeding pairs based on a variety of factors, including health, temperament, and conformation. Our Goldens are raised in a loving and nurturing environment, and we take great care to ensure that they receive the best possible care and socialization.

Our Girls

Nova

Nova is a large blocky girl standard to the English Cream variant of the Golden Retriever. Nova is 80lbs of pure muscle with a gorgeous white coat and lush feathering. Nova has passing OFA Hips and Elbows.

Nikita

Nikita is a new addition to Kelly's breeding program and will be taking her OFA exams for her Hips and Elbows May 2023! Nikita will be a midsized Golden with a beautiful cream colored coat!

Sushi

Sushi is co owned with Lamonds Goldens. Sushi is Third Generation Lamonds Goldens and has had one beautiful litter for Alexis. Sushi is currently going through training to be a Certified Therapy Dog! Sushi is an American Golden Retriever. She weighs 65lbs and has a beautiful silky drop coat providing lots of feathering! Sushi has passing OFA Hips and Elbows.

Laney

Laney is co owned with Lamonds Goldens. Laney was bred for and born at Lamonds Goldens. Laney is a new addition to our breeding program and will be taking her OFA exams for her Hips and Elbows May 2023! Laney will be a midsized Golden with a beautiful cream colored coat!
